undefined method `reenable’ for

Issue:
When you run 'rake db:migrate' on Ubuntu, or some other Debian based distro you get the error message: "rake aborted! undefined method `reenable’ for <Rake::Task db:schema:dump => [environment]>:Rake::Task".

Solution:
You need to uninstall the rake package that Ubuntu installs. I did this via synaptic to remove the package without breaking dependencies (Only remove rake, nothing else!). Then I installed rake as a gem with the command: "sudo gem install rake". After that I created a symlink in /usr/local/bin to the file "/var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/rake-0.8.7/bin/rake".
